Hi guys!

First of all thanks for listening so much to Multi-Love. I’ve never seen so much love for anything I’ve done before. So psyched because I think you’re going to really like the album. More on that soon, but for now:

Super excited to show you the new video for Multi-Love made by the multi-media artist Lionel “Vinyl” Williams. The video, gorgeous in itself, is an introduction to a playable interactive software environment you can explore in your own time, wandering around getting lost in the weirdness, taking more time to enjoy each part of it and trying to unlock the various behaviors that occur. In Lionel’s own words:

“It is meant to represent the vacuum of space by impressing upon inter-dimensional unfolding, immaterial objects, and time-driven reverberation of events. The virtual space allows for most 3D objects to trail in time – based on the directions one moves. You can construct & paint the objects in space to stretch them in any direction, to create infinitely vast compositional spaces.”

If that doesn’t make you curious as to what this thing is there’s no hope for you I’m afraid. Check it out at www.multi-love.com

The next exciting thing is that we’ll be going on a UK tour in September and playing The O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London! The Shepherd’s Bush Empire is one of my favorite venues in the world and it’s always been a dream of ours to headline there for many years so it’s destined to be a particularly special show. I hope you can join us for the party. We also have a bunch more dates in the UK in September and will be announcing some more European dates soon. We’ve also just added some US shows in July and August too including a Portland show!

You might have seen me on instagram wearing a sweatshirt with an all-over print of the cover of the first UMO album. People seemed to be really into it so we decided to start making them. Get yours here.

In other news, the debut album “Fxxk the Golden Youth” from the punk band I used to play in with my brother and buddies from high school, The Mint Chicks, is being reissued on limited vinyl and we’ll be selling some through the UMO website in the next couple weeks. Very limited amount, very limited time. For fans of the Buzzcocks and general obnoxious random mayhem (or fans of the Mint Chicks). Get em before they disappear.
